I would like to thank each and everyone for your help, support and contribution towards making the Ernie Hunter Night a memorable one. It was a lovely evening with good food and a great experience for the year 9’s. A wonderful reflection of the season for the year 10’s ,especially being their last year with the junior football club.
Unfortunately, some of you could not make it, so here is a brief on the event – At the power point presentation, Michael had praise and good things to say about every player. After each game, boys were given performance votes by the coach and any two parents. At the end of 15 games, with 99 votes Hamish Hutton received the Ernie Hunter Medal. Not far behind was Khye Baker with 97 votes.
Our Top 5 for 2017
Hamish Hutton 99 votes
Khye Baker 97 votes
Patrick Weldon 53 votes
Jaden Hodsdon 51 votes
Nathan Bell 39 votes
Khye Baker, Nathan Carter, Hamish Hutton and Marshel Rensen also received a medal for participation in more than 100 games for Wanderers while Nathan Bell from Rovers now with Wanderers, completed over 100 games too.
All boys were well dressed and looked very smart. Michael picked Jaden Hodsdon as the best dressed. The door prize was won by Adam and Helen Hill.
It was a great evening. However, this is not the last you will hear from me!!
